This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 1240LS26Q0061 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Janitorial Services at the Palisades Ranger District occupied by Forest Service employees. This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 561720 Other Services to Buildings and Dwellings The small business size standard is $22.0 Million. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency. Statement of Requirement The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Forest Service (FS), Intermountain Region, Palisades Ranger District, Caribou-Targhee National Forest, has a need for janitorial services. The base item, and consecutive option years for this solicitation is for the Palisades Ranger District occupied by Forest Service employees. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 1232SA26Q0949 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for range building renovations. Repair Masonry / Structural Issues Scope of Work (SOW) Work for this project will be performed at the W.G. (Bill) Hefner Veterans Affairs Medical Center located at 1601 Brenner Avenue, Salisbury, NC. Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including removal of existing masonry and mortar, and furnish labor and materials to perform work for VA project 659-24-901, Replace Masonry Structural Issues, which includes masonry maintenance and repair to the exterior walls for seven (7) campus buildings (Buildings 5, 6, 7, 11, 13, 19, and 21), with phased construction according to building groupings. Work includes brick repointing, masonry accessory replacements, lintel repairs, repainting, removal and replacement of existing wall-mounted items, expansion joint replacement, brick cleaning, sealant replacement, regrouting, precast and slate repair, and certain other work activities. All work occurs outside of occupied buildings. Therefore, safety and infection control measures are required during construction. The project includes deduct alternates, as required by drawings and specifications. BASE BID ITEM I, Buildings 7, 11, 19 and 21 receive full repointing. Buildings 5, 6 and 13 receive limited repointing and certain other items. All buildings receive building cleaning (including non-masonry wall areas), painting, and certain other refurbishments, as indicated by drawings and specifications.
