THIS IS A SYNOPSIS / SOLICITATION OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION. THIS IS A SOLICITATION AND INVITATION FOR OFFERORS TO SUBMIT QUOTES. The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) has issued solicitation 15BBNF26Q20300003 for the award of a firm-fixed-price contract for Replace Fire Pump at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Danbury located in Danbury, Connecticut. FCI Danbury is a federal correctional institution located at 33½ Pembroke Road, Route 37, Danbury, CT 06811. The project consists of removal of existing Fire Pump and installation of new Fire Pump. The specifications are included within the solicitation that is provided. Any secured/locked documents with the solicitation will require an active vendor registration at https://SAM.gov as well as your Marketing Partner Identification Number (MPIN) associated with your System for Award Management (SAM) registration. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this requirement is 238220 with a corresponding small business size standard of $19 million. Buckley SFB - BDOC Chiller Replacement

AMENDMENT 4: The purpose of Amendment 4 is to update the SOW (CAO 25 September 2026), provide the MTA TAEevo Tech Guide Specifications sheet and extend the quote submission deadline. The SOW has been updated to require the furnishing and installation of two (2) MTA TAEevoTECH 121 air-cooled scroll chillers (complete with integrated pump, on-board buffer tank with immersed evaporator, closed expansion tank, and factory-installed modularity kit) compliant with MTA Guide Specifications. Equipment shall comply with all performance, construction, and accessory requirements outlined in the MTA Guide Specifications and Product Literature. The new quote due date is 28 September 2026 at 1600 MDT. All offerors who submitted quotes prior to this amendment are required to resubmit their final quotes to the CO/CS. AMENDMENT 3: The purpose of Amendment 3 is to update the Statement of Work (SoW), release the current chiller submittal document, publish the questions/answers that were submitted to the CO/CS on or before 3 September 2026, and to extend the quote due date to 22 September 2026 at 1500 MDT. Although market research identified other potentially similar capabilities, the responses did not demonstrate that any alternative platform is immediately deployable and fully compliant with Mission Delta 6 requirements. Specifically, the alternative submissions contained unresolved gaps related to material capability validation, data sources and retention, integration methods, security boundaries, hosting, application programming interface specifications, service-level agreements, and sustainment. Further demonstrations, technical assessments, and integration efforts would be required before the Government could determine whether those platforms satisfy the requirement and can be integrated into Department of the Air Force Department of Defense Information Network systems. Argonne Ridge Group, LLC is the only known responsible source capable of providing the required Augury capability to meet the Government’s immediate operational need.
