East Kilbride Housing Association are procuring 'Open Space Maintenance Contract 2026 – 2029 (with 2 x single year extension options)'
The successful Candidate(s) will be selected to join a new framework Lot as one of the contractors responsible for the installation of replacement ‘side hung casement (with egress type hinge)’ and/ or ‘outward opening, fully reversible’ and/ or ‘tilt & turn’ uPVC windows/ doors, glazing, internal doors, external composite doors/ doorsets, fire rated doors/ doorsets and all associated works/ alterations within occupied flats/ houses at Various Addresses, Easterhouse G34. The contract is for the provision of window & door replacements and associated works [refer addresses at Appendix C] for the initial contract period which is 1st April 2027 to 31st March 2028, with options to extend the framework contract solely at the Employer’s discretion on an annual basis thereafter to 31st March 2031.
East Ayrshire Council have an expansive portfolio of domestic and owner occupied properties. The Council's tenanted properties are maintained primarily by an in-house team. Housing Asset Services require various sub-contractors to support the team in completing both housing related emergency and maintenance works to ensure they are completed within appointment /target dates and thus ensure KPI’s are achieved. Owner Occupied Properties are currently delivered by sub-contractors and this framework has been developed to ensure this same practice is continued. The framework will be split into the following lots: LOT 1 FLAT ROOFING LOT 2 PLASTERWORK AND RENDER LOT 3 GENERAL BUILDER LOT 4 WET FLOOR SHOWER AREAS LOT 5 TIMBER AND METAL FENCING LOT 6 GENERAL ROOFING LOT 7 ELECTRICAL WORK LOT 8 JOINERY WORK LOT 9 GLAZING WORK LOT 10 BLACKSMITH/METAL WORK LOT 11 PLUMBING WORK LOT 12 ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES
Roofing Maintenance and repairs as required, the successful Contractor shall provide a suitably skilled, experienced and competent workforce to safely deliver reactive roofing maintenance and repair works across the University of Dundee Estates & Campus Services portfolio. Works may include, but are not limited to: slate, tile and shingle roofing; felt/bitumen and single-ply membrane systems; lead, copper and zinc work; rainwater goods in various materials; associated cement and stonework repairs/pointing; cladding interfaces; and related minor external building fabric repairs required to make areas safe and weatherproof.
This procurement process is for the framework contract for a multi- supplier framework to carry out dry/wet rot survey and treatment, infestation (woodworm) and chemical mould removal on domestic properties. Dundee City Council is seeking to appoint a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 competent contractors for each lot within the framework. The lots for this framework are as follows- Lot 1 – Surface treatments for condensation, dampness and mould (excluding fogging) Lot 2 – Invasive treatments and investigation Lot 3 – Fogging Bidding organisations can apply for all lots within the framework but each lot will be awarded to the highest scoring bidder.
