The Regional Procurement Support Office, Frankfurt provides the following Pre-Solicitation Notice regarding the issuance of a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for: REPLACEMENT OF FIVE (5) BLAST-RESISTANT WINDOWS - U.S. EMBASSY KIGALI, RWANDA The Regional Procurement Support Office in Frankfurt, Germany, intends to issue a Firm Fixed-Price type purchase order during the third quarter of calendar year 2026. The successful contractor shall provide complete construction services, contract coordination, and supervision, including but not limited to the management and construction necessary to meet the requirements of the contract within the established timeframe. The United States Government Department of State (DOS), U.S. Embassy Kigali, Rwanda, requires construction services for the supply, delivery and replacement of five (5) blast-resistant windows at the U.S. Embassy Kigali Chancery, while maintaining the existing architectural appearance, protective function, building-envelope performance, and compatibility with the existing window assemblies and fixtures. The work is intended to be a replacement-in-kind project. The Contractor shall not redesign the Chancery window system or introduce a materially different appearance, frame system, glazing appearance, fixture arrangement, or installation configuration unless specifically approved in writing by the Government. Repair Masonry / Structural Issues Scope of Work (SOW) Work for this project will be performed at the W.G. (Bill) Hefner Veterans Affairs Medical Center located at 1601 Brenner Avenue, Salisbury, NC. Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including removal of existing masonry and mortar, and furnish labor and materials to perform work for VA project 659-24-901, Replace Masonry Structural Issues, which includes masonry maintenance and repair to the exterior walls for seven (7) campus buildings (Buildings 5, 6, 7, 11, 13, 19, and 21), with phased construction according to building groupings. Work includes brick repointing, masonry accessory replacements, lintel repairs, repainting, removal and replacement of existing wall-mounted items, expansion joint replacement, brick cleaning, sealant replacement, regrouting, precast and slate repair, and certain other work activities. All work occurs outside of occupied buildings. Therefore, safety and infection control measures are required during construction. This notice constitutes an Invitation for Bids (IFB), Solicitation W50S8A-26-B-A011 to Repair Taxiway Shoulders at Pease Air National Guard Base (PEASE ANGB), Newington, NH.
